This can be used in 2 different ways: As an entrance closer or entrance reducer. It's very easy to use- simply slide out the entrance piece using the 2 tabs and flip around to the other way.

The honey runs through the top large strainer to remove bulk cappings, and then through the finer stainless steel mesh underneath (approx. 1000 micron). It then flows out of the tapered funnel. This is a one handed queen catcher. You will require a queen marking pen, which is sold separately.

Simply place over the queen and slide the lid closed. Then push up the plunger to hold the queen in position while marking.
